Charles Mackey
Welcome! I'm Charles Mackey (AKA: Chuck); thanks for stopping by!
A personal distinction I bring to the table is providing clarity concerning your Infrastructure Technology Security posture. Through a combination of operational and strategic experience, I'll help you navigate the ever-changing field of IT. To do so, we'll use a powerful, proven framework that helps you move IT closer to your businesses goals and objectives. Together, we'll create a disciplined approach that closes the gaps between your business goals and objectives, and how IT supports them. I've worked in Management Consulting for E&Y and Deloitte and in Higher Education at Cuyahoga Community College where I served as the Executive Director, Information Technology Services. Projects I've managed include seven-figure Unified Communications implementations, Learning Management System installs, ERP and CRM installs, large-scale industrial automation/factory automation process re-engineering, and many projects involving government entities.

Doing the right things necessary to help clients reduce anxiety over the unknown creepiness in their logical and physical work-a-day world. Cyber stuff.

Planning and executing interesting projects for clients concerned about security, sure, but about how that all matters to their business.

| Cleveland and surrounding suburbs
Pulled together a Project Management Office to assist administrative and academic officers in improving systems for student engagement. Also formed the College's Office of Safe and Secure Computing.
Senior Manager at Deloitte Services
| Great Lakes Region
Servicing large-scale projects including CRM and ERP via the Enterprise Value Map. Yeah, alphabet projects, but cool work for cool clients. Great efforts and great rewards!
Associate Director, Internet Consulting Services at Ernst & Young
| Nationwide
We were a significant part of the Management Consulting Practice dedicated to introducing and executing the first-ever Internet-delivered consulting practice. Trade-named "Ernie", this highly innovative tool was a precursor to many of today's well-established knowledge-based search and delivery platforms. All told, we had a shovel-ready team of around 60 people engaging in front-line consulting. Our knowledge-provider network ran through all areas of E&Y; there wasn't a question we couldn't answer!
Incidentally, 'Ernie' is now part of the permanent record in the Computerworld Smithsonian archives. Now that's very cool.
